A Quick Completion and an Aquisition

So a few weeks ago I finished my shrug (lets just say I've been a little bit busy). The whole process only took a weekend to complete. If you're looking for something quick and easy, by all means, this is it.
The in thing seems to be seqins right now, so I searched the local Jo Ann's and Michael's for black sequins to no avail. I'll post finished pics as soon as the weather gets above 50 degrees... in eight months!!! (HAHAHAHA) Oh dear, I'm going to cry now...

On a more thrilling note I made an excursion to Montreal last weekend. My boyfriend and a couple of friends of ours trekked out to the Mount Royal metro and over to A La Tricotese. I got a tad bit excited and purchased five wonderful skeins of yarn (all of which I have no projects in mind for...). I havn't seen any of these in the vacinity, so I took the opportunity to get a few different types to experiment with.

If you have any suggestions of projects, please let me know! I really don't have anything in mind...

Oh! and Fern so graciously told me that if I need more skeins he'd ship them to me.... sigh, what a man...
